    Why families do it

When the day comes, your family can't ask you.

    • They won't have to search.Which bank? Which pension? How to get into your phone? They will know exactly where to look.
    • Your wishes will be followed. The music, the flowers, who to call first. Nobody has to guess what you would have wanted.
    • You can stop worrying about it.Fill it in over a weekend. A simple review checklist keeps it up to date.

A weekend for you now. Far fewer worries for the people you love later.

    The difference one weekend makes

What your family faces — with and without a file.

One day, someone you love will have to sort everything out. This is what decides how hard it is.

    Without a file

    • Your phone stays locked — and with it the photos and the security codes they need.
    • They guess which banks, pensions and policies you had. Some are never found.
    • Bills and subscriptions keep charging for months.
    • The will is in a drawer somewhere. Your funeral wishes are found too late.
    • Weeks of phone calls and paperwork, at the hardest time of their lives.

    With The Family File

    • They know how to get into your phone and accounts — the official way, with no passwords written down.
    • Every bank, pension and policy is listed, with where the paperwork is.
    • They know what to cancel, and how.
    • They know where the will is and exactly what you wanted.
    • A calm, step-by-step guide tells them what to do first.

You can't spare them the loss. You can spare them the search.

    Questions

    Everything you might be wondering.

    Which edition should I choose?

Essentials if it is just you and you only need access and money. Family if you want your wishes, the guide for afterwards and a copy for your parents — it covers up to 4 people in one file. Complete if you own a home or want your executor fully prepared: it has every page we make.

    What do I receive?

A download link by email right after payment. Every edition has a fillable PDF and a print-ready PDF (A4 or US Letter). Family and Complete also include the tablet edition, the Parents' Edition, the 12 letters and the spreadsheet. Nothing is posted.

    Is this a will?

No. It is an organiser. It tells your family where your will is, who to call and what you want. It does not replace a will or legal advice.

Is it safe? Do I write my passwords in it?

Never. You write where things are kept and who can reach them — never a password or a full account number. Everything stays on your own device or on paper; nothing is sent to us.

My family already knows where everything is.

Do they know how to get into your phone, every pension provider, which insurer, where the original will is? Too often, families only find out on the worst possible day.

There's plenty of time, isn't there?

Nobody gets to choose when. That is exactly why now — while everything is calm — is the easiest time. It takes a weekend.

    Doesn't it feel morbid?

Most of it is practical: bank names, where the spare keys are, the water shut-off. The rest is a kindness you leave behind.

Can I do one with my mum or dad?

Yes. Start with your own, then sit with them for one short session. The Parents' Edition is shorter, in larger print and made to be filled in together — it is included in Family and Complete.

Which countries does it work in?

Every country. The pages are written to work wherever you live. Where the rules differ from country to country — registering a death, probate, estate tax — the file tells your family what to ask and to check the official guidance where you live.

    Can I get a refund?

The files are digital and delivered instantly, so once they are downloaded we can't take them back. That's why every page is shown here before you buy. If a file is faulty or won't open, email us and we will put it right straight away.
